Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

Behind The Scenes : Princess Serenity

This is one of the costumes left half done since last year -.-;;
Procrastinator is my middle name ( i think it is every cosplayer's ) LOL

It's not that i like to procrastinate, it's just that when you are so busy you can't find the time to do things you like and when you have the free time, you would rather take it and rest instead.

See my point? exhaustion.
To the extend I sometimes tell myself " Fuck everything, i need my sleep"

Over here is how i completed my half made princess serenity costume a few hours before the shoot :-D
It's called skill babeh!
And it's nothing to be proud off D-:

The base is the white dress and was too loose (sewed it last year) and it kept on dropping..dang! I'm loosing my boobies too fast D-:

For the golden circles above the bust area, I've used white PVC cloth bought from Kamdar and sprayed it yellow + gold (ran out of it at the very last minute :-/ )
Basically this is another costume I'm disappointed with.sigh.. I vow to re-do again! =w=b
Sprayed PVC, should have bought gold PVC instead because
the paint kept on chipping :-/
Didn't have elastic band to thread the beads(at the waist area) together and i thought of making it like a stretchable necklace for the waist. Ran to Daiso and managed to buy them..
and guess what happened next?

The pearls couldn't fit the elastic band (and this was the smallest in Daiso) i bang-ed my head so hard on the wall..shesshh...waste of time go running all the way back to Puchong, IOI mall.
Daiso FOREVER my last minute lifesaver
Ended up sewing on the beads to the costume, if i want to re-use the beads means i have to remove all my hard work oTL
Thank you for giving me my 1st collection of pearl beads
Grandma
♥ It finally became very useful to me :-)

For the hairclip i just glued on some of the pearls together and glued them on to plain bobby pins
Burn..burn..burn!!

The finish product ~~
The costume ended up falling apart in the end...oTL

Happy Valentine's day though! :D
