Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

DIVA : STYLE & WIN [by Arisa ♥]

Here goes nothing! *cross fingers* ヽ(*・ω・)ノ

When it comes to styling I'm pretty simple ;-) Not too much and not too little and I've always been a boho style kind of person. Prefer loose clothing, I only wear tight fitted dresses when needed if not, just give me a maxi skirt with a tank top anytime lol but I do try out different styles from time to time and the one thing that will never change is my love for colors and prints (it can be floral, abstract or anything at all)
I think half my wardrobe is dominated by floral printed clothing and the funny thing is this fetish seems to run in the family too! :-P Must be the nyonya blood ohoho~

Finally bought some new clothes for CNY, but guess I won't be celebrating it this year as I have to rushed my designs for STYLO by 16th feb :-( sigh. Foreveralone.jpg. Hope I can submit it on time, wish me luck guys!
Guess that is the price you pay as a designer, you basically sold your soul to become a slave of fashion oTL

Okay enough depressing stuff :-P Here is how I pair my new colorful outfits (each top i paid less than RM30! Woots~) with my favorite timeless DIVA accessories ♥

My prada inspired sunnies from Day24

Bought this Tribal statement necklace from DIVA at RM21 (they were having the RM9- RM21 promotion) last year as a Christmas present for myself and I've been using it with almost every outfit!
Tons of people ask me where i got this unique piece :-)  Instead of the usual neon colored statement necklaces or boring neckties people wear, like i said- I prefer to go boho lol Tribal stuff ftw! ♥

Who says you can't wear colorful accessories with a colorful outfit? :-P It's almost the same concept of pairing 2 different kinds of prints for your top and bottom, if you pair the two colors well your outfit will definitely be the limelight of the day.

Something like this :-)
Mismatched prints but the colors compliments each other perfectly!

Moving on to bracelets! I have a seriously tiny wrist, before you judge me on because i'm underweight or anything :-/
I was born small boned ok! =_= even my skinny younger brother has small bones lol
Buying bracelets and bangles can be a real pain :-/ because none of them fits! And they are supposed to be free size =_= This cute little snake bracelet (also from DIVA) seems to fit well with this year's Chinese Zodiac, the year of the Snake! Pure coincidence lol :-P

Normal people would usually be able to fit this Snake bracelet perfectly on their wrist, but on mine it somehow doesn't look good because it's hanging loose :-(

Solution? Turn it into an arm bracelet instead! :-D You can wear a sleeveless body hugging dress and compliment it with an arm bracelet like this

Or if your ankles are small enough, ditch the usual bell trinkets and use this instead :-D

P/S : I love my wig color and was considering whether to actually color my hair that color :-P lol but maintaining it must be horrible @_@ Then again..if only my hair what that smooth trolololol~

XOXO,
