Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

Malaysia International Gourmet Festival 2011 (MIGF)

This is my first time attending an event regarding food <3 lols the love XD
Thank you so much Vin Wee for inviting me:) Glad to have met Florence as well, turns out both of us study in the same college, small world eh?

This mini party/ private event was held at Tamarind Springs which is located on the outskirts of Ampang
Nice & peaceful lace i might add. Its close to mother nature, a perfect a getaway from the hustle & bustle of city life :)

I really should invest on a camera! :( since hp cameras aren't designed to take pictures at night, dang..such a lovely place but not much photos :(

They had quite a creative concept in serving food, the food stations are scattered all over the place ( so you will need to do a slight exercise before you can reach your food :P)
the food was heavenly! Thai style, and this is my 1st time tasting Thai food btw..lols
And the tamarind drink they were serving was something unique, tasted like a mixture of tamarind & air asam haha
And they said it is good for your health, kind of addictive if you ask me> .< lost count of how many cups i had XP

found a website that teaches us how to make the drink :) go ahead and try it out! you might just end up loving it! I love my liquor too much to switch to other drinks :P
