Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

KOSÉ Relaunch, Aeon Mid Valley

"Be Your Own Kind"

Not too long ago when JUSCO went through a rebranding and renovation process to make themselves recognizable with its original name AEON since they were initially originated from Chiba prefecture, Japan after all. One of the most prominent changes i've seen so far for all the Aeons in klang valley is the one in Mid Valley, after the revamp they certainly look more like the one in Japan in fact they even brought in quite a number of their own home brand products to be sold here as well.
Though the price of these clothes/ products might scare some (almost muji like price) but the quality and style is definitely there!
I've not posted the video of my little tour in Aeon Makuhari (delayed like 2 years lol) but once i've posted that up you guys can see a similar resemblance of our new Aeon and the one in Japan.

It's also only befitting to welcome back other Japanese brands in Aeon like KOSÉ who took this opportunity to give their beauty station a fresh makeover, complete with a full range display of all their product series (whitening, anti- aging, moisture, etc) and also glad to see that they brought in their INFINITY cosmetic line!
Thank you KOSE & BridgesPR for having me over during the relaunch, it was great to see you guys one last time before i MIA from the scene last year.

For those of you who don't know, KOSE is a very big beauty cooperation and under their umbrella there are many sub brands created for various age target market, so don't be surprise when you visit a drugstore in Japan to find quite a number of skincare/ cosmetic with a different brand name but actually released by KOSE.
My favourite from them so far is obviously Sekkisei, Visée, softymo, DECORTÉ and Esprique. Though some of these brands may not be familiar with you as they can't be found in Malaysia but i would highly recommend to try them out if you do come across them.

Can't live without Sekkisei lotion as it helps to clear up my pimple scars and even out my overall skintone, though of late my skin is getting a bit dry because whitening products tend to do so. I do alternate my usage in between this and Tansan Magic sparkling moist Dr so that my skin doesn't dry up too much.

Speaking of cosmetics, INFINITY Kose is definitely one of those higher range cosmetic line that's catered for middle aged working women who appreciate elegance, subtlety, quality and class which is clearly displayed by the brand's packaging and marketing direction.
Still i'm curious to try them out someday, for now i've got my eyes eyed on their lipsticks and blushers on my wishlist to get next time when i can afford it (or in need new make up supplies which isn't anytime soon of course lol).

Do drop by KOSE, Aeon a visit to check them out or go for a consultation to see which range suits your skin best!

That pretty packaging, reminds me of the sailormoon compact powder in a way, the texture feels like soft powdery marshmallow and the finishing is light (not too thick and cake-like). Can't give a proper review on this as i've only tested in on the back of my hand but the texture does have a promising look to it

Shimmery blushers is all you need to give your cheeks a flush of color and highlight at the right areas without needing to strobe

OR292 is my perfect shade!

3 of us left our hearts in Japan but the one in the middle is going to make it her 2nd home soon *hoho*!  We come and visit you in Japan more often in the future k :)
おめでとうジェアンちゃん💝

Lol Reiko, quirky as always 💗

XOXO,
