Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

VEET IT OFF Journey

First and foremost i would like to thank everyone for the tremendous unending support from all my dear friends and family (as far as UK lol)
Without you guys I don't think I'll be able to have gotten this far :-) From cutting up plain old shirts, being shortlisted as top 50 contestants to top 10 finalists♥  and winning the Grand title of VEET Malaysia's VEET IT OFF competition.

This is the greatest achievement I have achieved so far..definitely worth preparing myself mentally for this sort of competition after my last one with Sasa's Cyber colors Glamour Girl seach :-P
Finally being able to follow my role model's footsteps is a dream come true for me..Thank you Jie jie Elizabeth for being my inspiration :-)
p/s : though I ain't a smart medical student like you :-P lols

When I first saw this I couldn't contain my excitement >.< I literally squealed so loudly when a dear friend, Stephanie Yukino tagged me on the photo. Reason given? I was the first to be interviewed during the shortlisted 50 contestants and had rushed off immediately after that >_< because I had work *sobs* The whole day was spent thinking "I could have done better during the interview"  oTL that was how worried I was lol. Guess just being myself has gotten me a spot at top 10, yay! :-)

Next was the workshop, which was a fun filled day with the 9 other girls. Glad to have met and work together with everyone of you :-) Though the challenges and task weren't that easy, but we all made it through.

The moment where CHAOS happened lol, within 10 minutes we had to revamped the plain dress that was given to us.
Putting some finishing touches on my garment before presenting it to the judges :-)

Lunch time with the girls! Eating Chicken rice does bring back memories of my CCGG days where we ate chicken rice almost everyday during on set haha! XD

After nerve wrecking 2 weeks wait finally the Grand Finale, that was held at Empire Mall Hotel :D This time, I told myself..It's okay if i did not win the grand title because at the end of this competition we are all winners. The best prize I could ever have from this competition is the new found friendship, from the day we all met at the workshop till the finale I've felt like all of us could get along quite easily (no cat fights lol, we Malaysians ain't such drama queens XD)
Thank you girls *group hugs*

An early morning sight that greeted us during our 8am rehearsal :D A huge backdrop with our faces in it ~ Feels weird seeing yourself being printed out so big lol XD

My outfit for Finale ♥ Loving the style.

Though none of my family members nor friends showed up (lol don't blame them because it's was on a weekday), at least my boy took leave and came to the finale. Thank you Jc, without you I wouldn't have the courage to pursue my dreams. I am truly blessed to have you (hope you understand that).
Thank you everyone.

XOXO,
Arisa♥
