Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

My Havaianas experience

Remember an old blogpost I did about why I want to win a pair of Havaianas flip flops? :-D
If you have forgotten about it, read it here: http://www.arisachow.com/2013/06/why-i-want-havaianas.html
You'll never believe this, received an email from The Butterfly Project notifying that I've just won myself a pair of Havaianas! How awesome is that? 8D

Call me "apek" for all i care, if given a choice I would rather wear slippers the rest of my life because the comfort of it can't be described with words lol.

Makes me wonder why would a sane person spend almost a hundred bucks on a pair of Rubber Flip flops?
Yes, it bugs me because I'm a cautious spender (related to dear ol' uncle Scrooge lol wtf) when it comes to things. I mean why on earth would you splurge on something that you are gonna step on right? My weird logic is, it is like stepping on money, no kidding when you come to think of it. I know i spend hundreds on my high heels but talk about the comfort and quality it's beyond comparison to a pair of rubber flip flops deshou?

I miss my skinny legs so badly! :-(

Now I have drumstick thighs, even my bf's leg is smaller (wtf) and he is a GUY =_= NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! As much as it kills me to be this skinny, i rather endure the pain for my vanity *kena slapped*
Ignore that, ahaha was just being random.

But ever since I've redeemed my free pair of Flip flops from Havaianas, Pavilion branch I guess I have to eat back my words :-P
I don't deny, it is comfy. Thank you so much Havaianas and The Butterfly Project for this awesome gift!
I can finally experience the comfort of a Havaianas flip flop :D

But for a plain dull looking pair of flip flops it's not really worth the price of RM100<-- this is my honest opinion about the color range they have for basic "SLIM" designs.
They should make it more attractive looking rather than just one plain flat color slippers, if i was just a normal customer who so happen to browse around their shop even I won't find them all that appealing >.<
Need a designer for your flip flops? Hire Me <---Shameless lol :DDDDDD

I wanted to get a black one so i don't have to worry about getting it dirty..etc but honestly speaking it looks like those bathroom slippers that i use back in my Kampung hometown lol wtf.
After almost 20mins of deciding I finally got myself a pair of metallic blush Havaianas!
Heard most of the other bloggers took Gold color, and LO! during the spa party there were so many gold colored Havaianas, i wondered if any of them got their flip flops mixed up :-P

The staffs in Pavilion branch were super duper friendly and service was good. Will be coming back to look out for more interesting designs soon ;-)

Here comes the shitty news, mine went missing on the first day I used them to the spa party :-(
Someone else mistook mine because it was the same color as hers but the size difference was so big (apparently one of the spa clients) WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT????
Thank god Aspen Spa managed to trace back the client and got back my slippers, but havent had time to collect it from TTDI till now ;___; I miss you Blushie (I name my stuff, weirdo. I know. Lol wtf)
