CANMAKE x ARISA Christmas Lookbook | Giveaway
Oh well.. but i shouldn't feel down as i managed to finish this in one day(12 hours) after the initial 3 days worth of video edit went down the drain thanks to the *%#$#!! back up laptop i was using decided to restart itself while i was exporting the finished video =.=
Series of unlucky nonsense happening over the recent past few weeks which i would be more than glad to put all of the aside now because i managed to get back up on my feet (after 10 minutes of crying) and overcome the obstacle i faced today!

This is one of my biggest collaborations for a Christmas giveaway, so i am kinda feeling the pressure (abit) but this is all about giving back to you guys as a gratitude from the brands and my blog especially for your unending supporting. I am really grateful to have you guys, through the ups and downs you all have kept me going.
And i'll continue to write, share about my life more without the facade on. Time to #keepitreal rather than to lace it up with a veil, be true to ourselves instead of living a so called "happy" life on social media when in reality it's all nothing but a play which we eventually get tired of keeping up with.
Now enough of me and time to focus on Canmake Malaysia lol, as one of their biggest fans from all the Japanese cosmetic brands i've been introduced and used over the years i am still overwhelmed that they agreed to be a part of my first big giveaway campaign :)
It all started when manager-san bought me my first canmake eyeshadow a few years back and i've been trying out tons of other canmake products ever since. And not to mention their recent 30th anniversary celebration which i attended during beauty Expo just not too long ago, you guys can read about it HERE if you are curious :)
Cheesie and Chanwon were the models for the #ColorCoordinate demonstration by Canmake's expert make up artist.
Like most Japanese cosmetic brand direction, their goal is to allow girls to discover their inner sweet & kawaii self and unleash them through make up or fashion as a form of expression. I don't deny that both of them go hand-in hand so it's important for one to learn the basics of grooming before dressing up.

Playing with this much shimmery colors also allows you to stand out from the crowd in a good way and it brings the focus to your eyes as the saying always go that "your eyes are the window to your soul".
Nothing but a beautiful (with a lil fun) captivating eye make up to get the whole room focused on you. Also this works really well if you are taking pictures in dim parties as the shimmer will instantly illuminate your entire face :)
Some of you might shudder at the thought of using bright shimmery eye shadows but i can tell you this- Don't be scared to try something new, make up is always about exploring and making things more beautiful.

There are a few items i would love to highlight, not only because they are new arrivals but also they literally stole my heart when i first used them for this video. One fine example is their Be my Baby BB cream which is an upgraded version of their old model, the coverage this bb cream is lightweight and decent leaving your skin feeling smooth and silky at the same time! And i don't need concealer to hide my pimple scars too, just this bb cream and their best seller marshmallow compact press powder i can achieve a flawless base to start coloring in lol.
Moving on to their Lip & Cheek gel, it's a pure genius breed combination i tell ya! Of all the duo function products i've used out there, none of it came close to this texture. It's so light and non sticky, works very well on the lips giving it a sheer shine while when applied on cheeks it gives a nice matte finishing. It's my MUST HAVE item in my bag now wherever i go, basically can't live without this anymore lol (not kidding!) as it works as an instant live saver for my pale face :D
