Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

Be Inspired Neubodi - A Lingerie Runway Project.

Never thought i would be putting on these 6 inch heels and strutting down the runway ever again lol, but this was a pretty last minute job too :-P
First and last lingerie runway show, sorry i don't have womanly curves to show people because i am flat as an airplane track.

Imagine project runway series but lingerie style.

Was pretty nerve wrecking because i haven't do a proper catwalk in like almost a year, can't even properly balance myself in 6 inch still managed to not fall though :-P
Lim Kok Wing's studying enviroment is beyond breath taking.

One thing i never get bored in designing, being able to storm up with an interesting mood board to support your designs.

But thanks to Neubodi, the very first women's inner wear expert here in Malaysia who geniously came up with the idea of collaborating with one of the best designing school in Malaysia, Lim Kok Wing to host a runway project for the talented students.

Lingerie might be one of the garments that uses less than a meter of fabric to create but don't be fooled by it's simplicity. Designing and making one isn't a joke.
Especially with Lim Kok Wing and Nuebodi panel of experience judges were there to evaluate every single detail on each student's presentation.

Judging were not only based on the student's presentation mood boards but also checking the craftsmanship in detail and briefly interviewing every student on their designs.
Ever good design has a story behind it.

Me modeling for the 2nd runner up winner with his punk rockstar inspired lingerie that looks really great for a of the shelf design. Can't wait to see this design being produced in the market one day, then i can proudly say "I wore the very first one" XD lol

Reiko, the ever sexy professional gorgeous model friend of mine strutting down the runway with the 1st runner's up piece which happens to be our favourite because of the great fabric texture and silhouette.
Not forgetting the color combination too!

The Grand prize winner of this competition, a vintage floral piece that looks effortlessly sweet and whimsical. Congratulations!

Thank you so much Neubodi for giving us an opportunity to experience something different from the usual runways we always do. It was an honor getting to model for these young aspiring designers pieces. Hope Neubodi plans to open more of this type of competition to all existing local fashion schools to give inspiring young designers to showcase their talents.
