Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

Daily Comfort from Mr. Lens

Holla girls, December month hasn't been slowing down much for me either and to come to think of it since when have i ever been free at all lol.
But can't complain when job opportunities comes right?:-)

Make up these days so canggih till you don't even need to edit pictures anymore. Instant flawless face without having to put in much effort and not forgetting good lighting (outdoor is always best). I stand by Japanese branded cosmetics ftw!
5 minutes make up including fake lashes using Jpop Corner Cosmetics & Kiss Me (BCL & K-Platte is their siblings too!)

Supposed to be done with my giveaway plushies + Jpop Corner Christmas Giveaway this week but im still in my final stages of moving house. And I know understand why people hate moving from condominiums especially if you are living above 10th floor, having to carry so many things up and down while waiting for the lift takes up a hell lot of time :-(

But living high up has always been so cooling! Especially this time of the year when it's monsoon season :-P

Didn't have time to drop by my usual optometrist to get my annual check up and new glasses fixed for next year and i am seriously low on contact lens supply as i change monthly (despite it claiming to be wearable for 3 months) due to hygiene purposes.
When it comes to the eye.."don't play play ah (Pua Chu Kang tone)". After seeing my own sister having some eye complications due to cosmetic contact lenses i also scared to take risk from buying  online already especially those that come in a mini vials because half the time you cant even tell whether it's from an authorized seller/ authentic product or not.

Picture from Google

As you all know i am a frequent user for Geo Korea Lenses but they take so long to ship them in if i directly do a bulk order from their official website with a MQ of 500 pairs.
Last time it was pretty common to see people doing bulk ordering together so we can hit the MQ fast enough but now ever since these other cosmetic lenses are available ready stocked in the market claiming it's authentic from Korea (but one can never be too sure).

Comfortable for daily usage and the color/diameter of the lens seriously doesn't go over the top.
I find those with a diameter of 16mm^ hard to wear sometime because my eyes are naturally small and to wear something that big won't make me look cute but more like "alien" -_-;; swt.
So best to stick is to 14.5mm to 15mm.

And since i am a chicken to try out other new brands <--paranoid about comfort
The Butterfly Project teamed up with an authorized online optical shop MrLens.com.my to launch a review campaign and for the very first time in all my years of wearing contact lenses believe it or not i have not even tried the brand Colourvue which has been widely available in all optical stores for years.

Official Website: http://www.mrlens.com.my/en

So i decided to give the Colourvue Big Eyes series a try since i still wanted an enlarging effect without overdoing it.
Aside from that i don't have to purposely go out to buy lenses XD Just shop from home, life is so much convenient now.

Oh did i forget to mention they provide free postage too?
No minimal amount of purchase required.

Postage itself you usually end up easily spending another RM6-10 bucks despite how cheap your purchase is, some people end up paying more for postage than the item they bought. Not me! Seriously isn't worth my time and money at all if i were to pay more for the courier services, might as well go take bus to the shopping mall and buy from there instead lol.

Upon checking out and payment, my lens arrived in 2 days via poslaju :-D
Also a great way to get your loved ones a surprised Christmas gift sent to their office in advanced, who doesn't like a lovely surprise especially when you are at work?

Start getting your loved ones to browse through www.mrlens.com.my and see which is on her wishlist (Make sure they don't find out)!
Be a darling santa by granting them this wish ( ˘ ³˘)❤

Obvious enough for photoshoots but in my preference more toned downed for daily usage.

Fit was perfect and surprisingly for a soft contact lens it is easy to put on without much effort unlike the transparent ones where you get confused which side is up or down.
  • Comfort Lvl: 9/10
  • *used it to more than 12 hours without applying eye drops, yes i abuse my eyes thanks to my horrible vain lifestyle 8D
  • Easy to apply
  • Soft Type of lens
At least now you know there are more and more retailers going online to make it convenient for their customers.
Great to have known that MrLens sells authentic products at such affordable prices, trust me you walk in to a normal optical shop a box of lenses could easily cost you RM150 a pair for just 1 month.
