Canmake 30th Anniversary @ Beauty Expo 2015
Thought i would be skipping Beauty Expo again this year because i hate crowds, my usual business with at Beauty Expo is either i work as a hair model or i am there to cover event as a blogger. Unlike most people who make it an annual habit to visit this big beauty convention, i'll try my best to avoid it if i could. Aside from just the crowds, it's DANGEROUS for my wallet lolol.
Yesterday alone i spent nearly RM200 on some hair tools and cosmetics, padahal i am supposed to be saving up for my trip next year.
Bumped into a few familiar faces during the event, i so perasan so i took the signboard saying "i am cute" XD
Can't believe Canmake is already celebrating their 30th anniversary here in Malaysia, how time flies and we (Malaysians) are glad to be a part of this birthday celebration in Beauty Expo.
This brand is no stranger to all girls who love Japanese culture and of course the famous "kawaii" look which is the brand's core characteristic,
When i was in Japan in every beauty departmental store and drugstore you are sure to find this brand in front on the stores.
Displaying new collections or best sellers which tempted me to buy even more that my budget allows :P
Not saying it's expensive or anything in fact most items are priced below 1000 yen (RM38) which is standard price for affordable cosmetic range. And knowing the Japanese everything is made with quality even the cheapest brands they will not compromise, that's why i feel safe to buy and try their local low-end range cosmetic brands.
Koari-san the regional Marketing director flew all the way down from Japan and arrived that morning itself before the event to share a speech and her heartfelt gratitude. Doesn't she look so adorable in that modern yukata of hers :)
It has pearls and glitter all over that it literally screams "kawaii" just like the cosmetic brand Canmake. So happy that i got to meet her personally (she is so kind!) and shared a few words though my Japanese speaking sucks lol well at least we both understood each other.
In conjunction of their 30th Anniversary canmake also released a new range of Lip & Cheek gel alongside with 2 new fun new looks to pair with just celebrate the occasion!
All the pink-ness makes me feel so princess-y
From Left: Matte & Crystal Cheeks (powder) and Lip & cheek gel both retailing about RM60+ i think? But if you are in Japan now it's about 600¥ - 650¥ each in their local drugstores.
Best seller of all time, their Glow Fleur Cheeks blusher (comes in 6 shades) that is rose patterned and is designed to have a few colours in one palette to deliver unique blusher shade with every brushing. Really love this because of the design, actually all of canmake stuff also looks nice. Honestly prefer canmake packaging designs compared to Dolly wink and Kiss Me though all 3 brands also i am currently using because it's good and suitable for Asian skin type, just sometimes their products can be abit too shimmery.
Presented here are the latest range released for 2015, can't wait to see what they have in store for us next year in 2016.
Demo was done by Meoki on both local famous bloggers Chanwon & Cheesie who both suits the whole canmake theme and might add they carried the looks quite well!
We all know cheesie is more Japanese than Malaysian liao lol, but for Chanwon i always think of her as a Korean type like Girls generation XD
Overall she is just too cute la! Skinny girl who eats nothing but meat, makes me super jelly of her because she doesn't gain weight as easily as me ;-(
On Chanwon is Lip & Cheek gel colour 03, On Cheesie is Lip & Cheek gel 01 (my fav!)
Meoki gave some useful tips on how to use their new lip & cheek gel colour in order to create these two looks- Glossy and Shiny on Chanwon & Colour Coordinate on Cheesie.
There are actually techniques oh how to apply this gel especially on the cheeks which i will try to do and share with your girls on my next blogpost :)
Honestly which type of blushers do you girls prefer? The traditional powder (loose/ solid) type, cream or gel type of blushers?
First time hearing of gel though, didn't recall seeing the gel type in Japan because they were focusing on their Halloween range lol. Yes, in Japan they release their range according to seasons and events, halloween so happen to be one of the most celebrated even among Japanese that every corner of Japan you will see is being decorated by Halloween deco & props, even their food too!
So cool right? :D
Oh, and if you are planning to drop by Beauty Expo tomorrow (last day) to grab clearance deals, don't forget to visit Teeni Booth (#4009, hall 4) the official distributor of Canmake products to grab some of their stuff. Not exactly a sale ongoing but they have great deals like buy 2 free 1 for their new arrivals and for seasoned items they are selling in a bundle- 3 items for RM60!
Which is a great steal if you ask me, getting 3 canmake products for only RM60 meaning each is only RM20.
Most of their stuff are selling like hot cakes, but last i checked today there are still stocks but limited. So quickly head over their booth first thing in the morning tomorrow when you arrive at Beauty Expo ya :D
Who knows if you are lucky there would be another special deal to clear out all items? :P
If there is please share and let me know ya so i can head over myself to get more stuff XD
