Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

Herbal Essences: Smell Of Spring [Japan Series]

You know spring is near when you start seeing collections or designs that floral based especially when it comes to beauty and fashion.
Japan is one of the top countries in the world with high knowledge of professional haircare, well if you follow Number76 or Chessie's instagram it's constantly spammed with beautiful hair pictures. Such luscious locks and pretty colors.
I am definitely envious over that, which girl wouldn't be? But then again hey,not everyone can pull off short hair yo :-P So I am considered lucky also la lol.

Got a box of lilac colored roses as a gift from Herbal Essence ♥

Yes, in conclusion we Asians basically worship our hair. Well, when you are blessed with such beautiful hair why not make it smell good at the same time?
Anway which girl in a sane mind wouldn't want her hair smelling good? A best compliment a woman can receive from a person is the trail of her lovely scent (in a good way 'k!)

Left: Camellia Oil & Pink Rose, Right: Lavender and Honey

That is why when Japan's technology and knowledge meets Herbal Essences a whole revolution for shampoos. Herbal Essences brand is no stranger to me like all the other beauty brands available on the shelf markets out there because my sis users it particularly because of the strong smell, which is personally quite strong for my taste lol. Maybe i am not the type that likes to drown my entire face with the scent of my hair, makes me super dizzy (dunno why, maybe sensitive nose kot~

Photo credits to Chency :)Thanks babe!
Cheesie is so small i swear i feel like a damn giant next to her >.<
See our height difference? @_@ Can makan her whole wei~

Got the honor of meeting Chessie and Jane last week during the launch of this newly formulated series as they are soon available in the market.
Even though i am not a big fan of strong scented shampoos but somehow their Honey & Lavender (touchable moisture) really caught my attention. Exactly the right amount of balance between the lavender floral and honey sweetness, do hope no bees attack my head though! @_@

Cheesie, Jane and Goh Seng Jone (P&G Communications Manager) discussing their experience with
Herbal Essences’ Japan series

During the launch we also got a little more personal sharing experience with Cheesie and Jane about their beauty indulgence and one thing for sure we do know is these ladies LOVE their hair alot. Can see alot of time and effort is put into haircare, explains why their hair are so beautiful and soft.

My dream bathroom. Not a big lavish one but a simple wooden one like this is easy to maintain and yet gives out the relaxing vibe at the same time.

Ever actually thought of your bathroom being a getaway place from reality even if it's just for 30 minutes out of your 12 hours of being awake? For me? Nope or maybe (someday?)
I live with guys and my toilet is literally a size of a TV box, and to decorate it? Can't be bothered because cleaning would be hell for me since I am the only girl who is lazy to do so every week XD

That is the reason why i never find my bathroom a place to indulge like Cheesie and Jane but in conjunction with this launch these 2 bloggers will be giving you girls (and guys) a chance to experience a sweet escapade (bathroom) makeover with their personal touches and one year’s supply of the new Touchable Smooth and Touchable Moisture hair care range. Simply upload a photo of your bathroom on Instagram and
hashtag:  #sweetscentsation  #cheesiejane  #HerbalEssencesJapan.
